Diaundra's TL;DR - The Almanack of Naval Ravikant By Eric Jorgenson
Naval Ravikant became successful through entrepreneurship and investing. Interestingly though, he is most known for his philosophical tweet storms. Here are some of his philosophies that stood out to me from the book 'The Almanack of Naval Ravikant':
Seek wealth, not money or status.
Wealth = owning assets that earn while you sleep.
Money = the transfer of time and wealth.
Status = your place in the social hierarchy.
You will not get rich by renting out your time. You must own equity to gain financial freedom.
Play iterated games. All returns in life, whether in wealth, relationships, or knowledge, come from compound interest.
Find what feels like play to you. This may look like work to others, but for you, this is your leverage.
When picking partners, especially business partners, choose ones with high intelligence, energy, and integrity. Do not partner with cynics and pessimists; their beliefs are self-fulfilling.
Wealth is not really what you're/I am/we're seeking.
Till next time.
With love,
Diaundra
