Diaundra's TL;DR: I Will Teach You To Be Rich
"The single most important factor to getting rich is getting started, not being the smartest person in the room." - Ramit Sethi
There are books on wealth, and then there are books on what I like to call 'financial fitness.' 'I Will Teach You To Be Rich' by Ramit Sethi is definitely the latter. In this very tangible and digestible book, Ramit breaks down the components of overall financial health.
This is probably my third year giving this book a read. Every time, I find a new area of my financial fitness to optimize. I'm not a finance guru (yet 😉), so I'll spare you my usual format of what I learned from this read. Instead, here's a summary of what you could learn in this book:
The psychology of money
"What does 'rich' even mean?"
Credit card advice
Banking tips
Investment strategy
Budgeting frameworks
Earnings potential
Financial planning
If finances are on your 2024 'resolutions' list, I'd definitely recommend giving this year a read.
Till next time.
With love,
Diaundra
